Engagement Cake

This was made for a surprise engagement party.  How sweet is this future hubby??  He set up a dinner for 30 of their closest friends and family at a local Greek restaurant along with an engagement themed cake for the future bride and guests to enjoy!

If I don't share cakes on here right away, I get busy with new cakes and completely forget!  This was done in December for a diaper and wipes shower.

Mario Kart Cake

This weekend I did a Mario Kart Cake for Christian's 6th birthday party!  I had so much fun making this cake and I do believe it is my new personal favorite so far!  Enjoy

Happy Birthday Mom!

Today is my wonderful Mom's birthday.  Last night I had a small dinner party for her at my house.  I had an idea for what type of cake I wanted to make for her, and at the last minute decided the frosting needed to be lighter then my normal buttercream. So I made a fluffy white cake filled with milk chocolate ganache and fresh strawberries and frosted with an Italian meringue buttercream that was to die for!  If ever Heaven was wrapped up in a cake...this would be the cake.  I made a couple of sugar flowers for the top.
