Disney Princess Cake / Princess Gift Wrap / Hat Box Cake

This weekend I had a request for a couple of Disney Princess Cakes for a joined 3rd birthday party.  The girls love all of the princesses and couldn't pick a favorite.  In order to avoid any disappoints we found a way to incorporate all of the Disney princesses classic and new along with Tinkerbell, as requested by one of the girls, into two very princessy cakes designed as gift box cakes or hat box cakes.  Enjoy!  

  

Power Ranger Samurai Cake and Cupcakes

Oops!  I didn't realize that I forgot to blog this super cute cake I did a few weeks ago.  

This is a hexagonal shaped buttercream birthday cake for 5 year old Hunter!  Each power ranger was hand painted on a fondant plaque, but the Red Samurai Ranger stole the show since he is Hunter's favorite.  We also served matching buttercream cupcakes for extra cuteness!  Enjoy!!

Plants vs. Zombies Cake featuring Crazy Dave

Ever play Plants Vs. Zombies?  I downloaded it to my PS3 as research for this cake and I am addicted now lol!  So much fun!  This cake features Crazy Dave, the game narrator who sells supplies out of the back of his beat up blue hatch back, sunflowers and peashooters, and of course the zombies... BRAINS!

It turns out zombies are a lot of fun to make... gives me some ideas for Halloween Cakes hehe.

Movie / Cinema themed Cake

Fun hot pink, white, and silver movie / cinema themed cake for a 13 yr old girl's birthday hosted at the theater.  White chocolate movie ticket stubs and carmel corn for a little extra flavor on a fun cake!

Mario Kart Cake

This weekend I did a Mario Kart Cake for Christian's 6th birthday party!  I had so much fun making this cake and I do believe it is my new personal favorite so far!  Enjoy

A friend of mine has a 4 yr old son that just went through ear surgery.  I decided to cheer him up with surprise Toy Story, more specifically Buzz Light Year, cupcakes.  He was definitely delighted!

Elizabeth's 1st Birthday

Oh how we wish this couple lived in DFW so we could bake for them all of the time!  Baby Elizabeth and family came to town to celebrate her first birthday with family.  We designed a purse cake matching their party invites to serve to guests and a tiny smash cake for miss Elizabeth.

Mudding Truck Cake

Our latest project was for a boy's 16th birthday.  I think this cake is fitting for many of the guys in Texas.  An off road lifted truck for mudding (melted chocolate), and in honor of teenage tradition it comes complete with shoe polished windows ;)  Happy 16th Birthday Hunter!
